DAY 1 :

The tour starts with an early departure from Fez to Merzouga via the middle Atlas Mountains it is a nice drive through Berber villages. Stop in the beautiful city of Ifrane (known as “Moroccan Switzerland “) continue to Azrou, the famous cedar forest where you can see the monkeys, and continue to Midelt city where you can have your lunch. After lunch, you continue Arfoud through Ziz Valley ( a nice panoramic view and scenery of the oasis). On the drive from Arfoud to the dunes, you will see some nomadic Berber tribes. You will spend your night in the traditional auberge.

DAY 2 :

After breakfast, you will visit Merzouga, the pride of southern Morocco, discovering the wonderful oasis, local villages, traditional music, and beautiful dunes. After relaxing, head back to the Auberge. You will go for a camel ride and go on an adventure in the sand dunes. You will spend the night in an equipped camp with drum music in the middle of the Erg Chebbi (Sahara), where you can take lovely pictures of the sunset. When we arrive to the camp, we climb the high dunes to see the sunset and spend the night in nomad tent.

DAY 3 :

Wake up early to see the sunrise on the dunes of Merzouga; we return to the Auberge to have breakfast. Then we will drive through Arfoud Erissani, where you can visit the fossilized marble factory and palm groves and Touroug Tinjdad. Continue to the fabulous Todgha Gorges, where you can have your lunch. The itinerary continues to the Dades Gorges. Stay overnight at the Auberge.

Day 4:

Head back to the Dades Valley after breakfast to visit the Rose Valley, which celebrates the Festival of the Roses, and discover the beautiful architecture of Kasbah (Ksour) Province. Enjoy lunch in Kelaa M’Gouna and continue on the road to Skoura; visit the Valley. Arrive at Ouarzazate for dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 5:

Depart after breakfast to the famous Kasbah Ait Ben Haddou, where many movies were filmed, like the Gladiator and Lawrence of Arabia. It has been a UNESCO World Heritage site since 1980. Then we continue to Marrakech via the Tizi N’Tichka Pass in the High Atlas Mountains. Conclude the journey with lunch once we reach Marrakech in the afternoon.
